Artist Nicolas Fraiseau uses Chinese pole in an innovative way turning it into an unstable object. In an insecure environment, without an anchor and a stable support, the artist examines methods of finding balance within himself. Researching fragility and unpredictability of an artist and the world surrounding him makes the theme of the performance more current than in 2018 when it was premiered.
Nicolas Fraiseau graduated the French Circus Academy CNAC in Paris in 2016. Consequentially, he joined the company Les Hommes penchés , where he started working with the founder and director Christophe Huysman, one of the most influential directors in contemporary circus.
