Stek breathes the street—its noise, its smoke. Through the manipulation of a dumpster, and by blending dance, theatre, stunts, music, acrobatics, juggling and clowning, it creates a world akin to a summer storm: raw, refreshing and wild.

Stek allows itself to be carried by the street—both mother and home—immersing the audience in a simple, percussive and sensitive universe that adapts to any space, indoors or outdoors. It embraces improvisation: Stek exists in the present moment.

Four marginal characters share an offbeat daily life, where survival binds them together and transforms hunger into brotherhood. From precarity, uncertainty and family emerges an inexhaustible poetry.

With a deliberately raw aesthetic, Stek embodies madness and solitude—but above all, a fierce joy of being alive. The pleasure of not being alone.

Stek speaks of life itself: of night and day, of fragile bonds and a deep need for tenderness. It discovers beauty in what is discarded—waste that is at once magical, grotesque and precious.

Intrepidus Squad is a live arts company founded in 2020 by Léo Morala (France), Ottavio Stazio (Italy), Mario Barragán (Mexico) and Analía Vincent (Uruguay), following their training—particularly the final three years at the Toulouse Occitanie Higher School of Circus Arts (ESACTO LIDO).

Intrepidus places particular emphasis on interaction with audiences. The expansion and democratisation of culture are central to their practice; for this reason, beyond theatres, they actively engage with public space.

The company cultivates a broad and authentic artistic approach. Each creation begins with the human relationships between its four members, their shared desire for expression, and their commitment to encounter. To convey this, Intrepidus develops a hybrid and sensitive language, dissolving the boundaries between urban dance, circus, theatre and music.

At Intrepidus Squad, curiosity is the driving force. At the beginning of their artistic journey, they embrace the complexity of creation, seeking to deepen their practice and explore new ways of making art and elevating narrative forms.

The presentation of Intrepidus Squad is supported by Teatroskop.
