Hollows and Empties is a juggling performance infused with elements of new magic. An original project by Domagoj Šoić, it’s a collage of conscious and subconscious fragments from the inner world of a juggler, interpreted through light, movement, and juggling balls.
The performance is a result of years of work both on stage and behind the scenes, in the roles of artist and technician. Woven into it are experiences and ideas found, lost, collected, and preserved along the way.
We turn off the lights, fasten our seatbelts, and visit other states of matter.

DOMAGOJ ŠOIĆ
Domagoj has been involved in circus and street art for nearly 20 years. About a decade ago, he also began working as a lighting designer and technician for circus tents. He has extensive experience on the circus scene as a performer, but also behind the scenes as a mentor, outside eye, and lighting designer. As both a performer and lighting designer, he collaborates with numerous circus organizations and institutions in Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, and France. In the circus world, he is known by the nickname Kuga.
