Ian is a 12-year-old engineer living with his brother Marcus and their grandmother in one of Nairobi’s ghettos. Together with his best friend Promise, he dreams of traveling the world and becoming a famous acrobat. Every day, they train with Steve – their superhero and charismatic acrobatics coach – who fills their afternoons with joy and broadens their horizons. One day, Steve announces that some of the kids will be selected for a summer acrobatics tour in Europe. As the selection day approaches, Ian’s life becomes increasingly difficult, his confidence shaken, and despite the support of his loving family, he faces many challenges. Will his dreams come true?
